How to play
Draft an XI from historic European squads, then watch it play a full cup season. One run takes about five to ten minutes (2× speed halves the matches).

1
Pick a mode and a formation
Classic shows player ratings. Expert hides them while you draft, so you pick on football knowledge alone. Summit ties clubmates and compatriots together with ropes that lift their ratings. Then choose 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1 or 3-5-2.
-
2
Spin and draft
Each spin lands on one of 64 squads from over 30 years of European nights. Take one player from it and put him in any empty slot. A squad never comes up twice in the same run.
-
3
Mind the positions
Players lose rating points out of position: a little in a neighbouring position or on the other flank, a lot across the lines. A defensive midfielder in central midfield loses 1, a left winger on the right 2, a centre-back in central midfield 6 and a centre-back up front 22. The best slots for the player you picked glow on the pitch.
-
4
One reroll, no duplicates
Once per run you can skip a squad and spin again. A player can only be in your XI once, even if he appears in more than one squad.
-
5
Play the season
Your XI plays eight league-phase matches. The top 8 go straight to the last 16, 9th to 24th play a two-legged play-off, and the rest are out. Knock-out ties are two legs until a one-match final at a neutral venue. From the knock-outs on, you kick off each match yourself.

6
Chase 15-0
Win all 15 matches on the direct route for a perfect run. A penalty shoot-out counts as a draw, so it ends the perfect run even if you go through.
Daily wheel
Everyone gets the same spins and the same opponents each day. A new wheel starts at midnight UTC.
Challenge links
After a run, copy a challenge link. Friends who open it see your XI and can draft from the same wheel to beat it.
Summit mode
Players in your XI who share a club, from any season, or a nation are tied together by ropes. Three clubmates give each of them +1 and five give +2. Three compatriots give +1, four +2, five +3 and six or more +4. A player gains at most +4 and no rating goes past 100, so a rating of 99 or 100 is rare: it turns red, the PEAK. Rivals have no ropes, but those from the top two pots, and your semi-final and final opponents, climb with you: Altitude +1. Ropes never depend on where a player stands, though out of position still costs rating.
Where ratings come from
Ratings come from our own formula: the team's result that season, the player's role in that cup run and his Ballon d'Or rankings that year and the years either side, where published, plus a few documented adjustments. They are our opinion, for fun.
